DESIGNING STICKERS, AND FINDING HOPE IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS...
It is now June, it is unbelievable how fast time is flying. To think we already find ourselves halfway through this heavy and interesting year. Each month has come with it’s challenges, from earlier the fires in the amazon, the volcano erupting, a pandemic, and now the outburst of racial injustice.
It feels that it’s chaos in every corner and it has been overwhelming days for sure but during this times more than ever it has been crucial to press in to Jesus. Our true hope and anchor. I have been keeping busy and giving my energy in preparing for the Quarantine Dreams Collection of art prints release. Which today I would like to give you a little update and share with you an addition to the collection that I’m very excited about!
As a little girl, in those tender years I remember getting lost roaming the isles of the school supplies in Kmart while my mother would shop. I would stare at the Lisa Frank ( 90s kids remember! ) stationery as I held the item in my hands and pondered how could convince my mother to allow me to bring it home and add it to my ever growing collection. The bright colors, stickers and surreal animals/ scenes would bring me sooo much joy and inspiration that I carefully just collected them and refused to use them :)
At that young age I dreamed of one day designing my very own stickers and stationery. Fast forward 20+ years here I am as a grown woman still dreaming that. So today it brings me so much excitement to share with you these stickers I have been designing and hand crafting in my little studio!
These stickers will also be part of the Quarantine Dreams Collection release. They are inspired by the truth and hope found in Jesus. I have been working hard into putting all the details together and I can’t wait to share it’s release with you within the next coming days!
My hopes are that these stickers and collection brings you joy, inspiration, hope and point you to our source of peace, Jesus. It will be available for purchase on my Etsy shop :).
Thank you for being here and supporting my art, it means the world to me.
Till next time,
Paloma
